Model Description
Manufactured in the 1940ties, in color beige/red, very nice painting and lithography with almost any signs of playing, overall in very pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

Things to know about the Gescha 55-6 Auto Union Race-Car with Clown "Oh La La"
The Auto Union Race-car with the moving clown "Oh La La" and item number 55-6 first entered the Gescha range in the 1940s and was only produced for a short period of time. The model has a wind-up engine for driving forwards, a brake lever with start/stop function, movable bumpers and a steerable front axle for adjusting the direction of travel. If the model hits an obstacle, the clown turns its head and the vehicle reverses. If the vehicle hits an obstacle while travelling backwards, the direction of travel changes again. There was no re-edition of the model after the end of production.
