Manufactured in the 1900ties, in color beige/darkred, very nice painting and lithography with only several small signs of playing, overall in very pretty and age-related condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

Things to know about the Ernst Paul Lehmann 490 Tut Tut
The Tut Tut vehicle with item number 490 first entered the Ernst Paul Lehmann range at the turn of the 1900s and was produced until the early 1920s. The model has a wind-up engine for easy forward travel, which is wound up via a permanently mounted side-mounted wind-up pulley. When the vehicle is travelling, a mechanical movement inside the vehicle causes a bellows made of paper to generate a stream of air, which causes the driver to blow through his horn, making a loud "tooting" sound. At the same time, the driver makes steering movements. There was no reissue of the model after it went out of production.
