Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color red, almost with perfect painting, very pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" in golden letters, no damages, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original vintage Schuco wind-up key in dark color.

Things to know about the Schuco Patent Garage-Car 1750
The Schuco Patent Garage-Car 1750, also called "Freilaufrenner" was first released in the Schuco collection 1938 and has been built until 1960.

The model has a simple clockwork mechanism to drive fast forward and slow backward. The reverse gear is working by pulling out the rear bumper. If the car hits an object, the rear bumber is pushed in and the car moves forward again. The model has also a start- and stopping-lever and drives in circles or straight, what depends on the steering by the lever at the front bumper.
