Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color darker red with lightgrey seat, almost perfect paiting, very pretty, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in U.S. Zone Germany", no damages, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, the manual is from current production.

Things to know about the Schuco Grand-Prix-Racer 1070
The Schuco Grand-Prix-Racer 1070 was first released in the Schuco collection after World War II in the year 1954 and has been built until 1966. Later on in 1988 Schuco has made the decision to start the production again.

The model has a simple clockwork mechanism to drive fast forward and also a start- and stopping-lever. The direction will be adjusted by the steering wheel and the wheels can be removed easily with a wing nut and a central locking. The front bumper is made of plastic to avoid any damages by hitting furniture for example.
