Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color darkgreen/white, almost perfect painting, very pretty, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany", no damages, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete set with all accessoires inclusive steering wire, original Schuco paperbox in good, age-related condition, earlier version with wooden pylons and coloured cardboard box without viewing window.

The Schuco Remote-Control-Car 3000 with the Volkswagen Käfer body as Police car was first released in the Schuco collection 1960 and has been built for four years only until and including 1964. It has a clockwork mechanism with four different driving levels for slow, medium and fast forward speeds as well as a stop function, all operated by a lever on the rear window. The direction of travel can be controlled via the remote steering shaft and individual driving parcours can be created with the included pylons. The model itself is made of injection moulding.
