Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1930ties, color darkblue, very nice painting with several signs of playing, overall in very pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

Things to know about the Schuco Patent-Auto 1001
The Schuco Patent-Auto 1001 - also called "Wende-Auto 1001"- first entered the Schuco range before the Second World War in 1936 and was built until around in 1949. It has a clockwork mechanism that drives a longitudinally mounted drive wheel and another transverse wheel. As soon as the car drives over the edge of a table, it automatically turns away to the left and thus does not fall down (so-called "turning function").

Unless an original box is shown in the pictures or listed in the description, the model will be shipped in a special “Models with a story” box. Each model has two years warranty and is subject to differential taxation according to §25a UStG (VAT free).
