Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color red/yellow, very pretty condition with no signs of playing, the rubber tube is also in perfect condition, marked with "Made in Western Germany" in beige letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

Things to know about the Schuco Radiant-Service 5601 Fuel-Car
The Schuco Radiant Service 5601 tanker first entered the Schuco range in 1956 and was built up to and including 1968. The model has no mechanical function, it was only used for electrical charging of the electric Radiant 5600 aircraft by bridging the current. The current was fed in via a transformer at the rear of the vehicle and passed on to the Radiant through the tank nozzle on the roof of the model. This allowed the aircraft's batteries to be charged in style. There was no reissue of the model.
