Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color red with beige roof and beige interieur, absolutely perfect painting without any signs of playing, in brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in Western Germany" in blue letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original outer box with light storage marks due to age, one missing and one glued flap. One of the rarest Schuco models ever and extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness.

The Schuco Rollfix 1085 first entered the Schuco range in 1962 and was only built for a total of three (!) years up to and including 1965 due to its extremely limited success at the time. In contrast to other Schuco models, most of which have many technical refinements, the Rollfix 1085 only has a relatively simple flywheel mechanism, which is operated by a spring-loaded automatic mechanism or a wire cable at the rear of the vehicle. The direction of travel can be adjusted via a lever in the front bumper. Due to the very short construction period and the only moderate success on the shelves of toy shops at the time, the Rollfix 1085 is today one of the rarest and most sought-after Schuco models ever.
