Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1970ties, in color lightblue-metallic/orange with red/black interieur, very nice painting and decals with only very samll signs of playing, overall in pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in Western Germany", battery compartment without any dirt, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, small defect on the rear right spoiler lip, complete with the original outer box in age-related condition.

Things to know about the Schuco 356213 Porsche 917 L Race-car
The Schuco Porsche 917 L Race-car with the article number 356213 first entered the Schuco range in 1971 and was built until around 1976. It has a battery-powered electric motor with gearbox and a lever for driving forwards and backwards as well as a functioning accelerator pedal which, when pushed forwards, causes the engine to start and, depending on the pressure, produces a loud and throaty electric engine sound. In addition, the model has steering wheel steering and opening gullwing doors. The car is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries which are housed in a battery box where the engine is located on the original car. The model has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1976.
