Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color red/blue with beige hull, perfect painting and lithography without any signs of playing, overall in almost brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Western Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original outer box also in almost perfect condition. The model has no signs of rust, only the hull made of plastic has slight and usual age-related discolourations. The model is extremely rare to find in this condition.

Things to know about the Schuco Pitt 3006 Sports Boat
The Schuco Pitt 3006 sports boat first entered the Schuco range in 1964 and was only built for a small period until the end of the 1960s. It is powered by a simple clockwork mechanism that is wound up using a spanner through the hole in the sundeck area. To start the wound-up engine, the control lever must be moved forward to full thrust. As soon as the engine has started to move, the flag attached to the stern of the boat begins to flap wildly. The direction of travel can be adjusted via the movable rudder at the rear of the boat and the upper deck is removable to dry the inside of the boat if necessary. There is no new edition of the model in the Schuco range.
