Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color red with silver ladder and green/yellow interieur, very good and almost perfect painting without any signs of playing, overall in beautiful and close to brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, "Made in Western Germany", version with metal "Schuco" logo on both doors, mechanical horn and side searchlight, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, one fireman is a re-cast and the right front tyre has a largely inconspicuous slight flat tyre, The battery compartment is without deposits, complete with all accessories, original instruction manual and large outer box. Extremely rare to find in this condition and this completeness.

The Schuco Elekro-Construction 6080 fire engine turntable ladder first entered the Schuco range in 1957 and was built until 1967. As with all models from the Electro-Construction series, this model is a completely dismountable electric multi-purpose conversion model that can be steered and operated by remote control. The drive for driving as well as for the ladder function is done by an electric motor, which is powered by three 1.5 volt batteries from a separate battery box. A switch on the chassis of the truck can be used to switch between driving and ladder operation. The turntable ladder is fully functional and rotatable, with extension of the ladder being either electric or manual. In addition, the vehicle has a mechanical horn with a clockwork mechanism, which is wound up via the underside of the model and operated by a button on the bonnet.
