Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color reseda-green with red interieur, perfect painting without any signs of playing, nearly in brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in Western Germany" in blue letters, battery compartment without any dirt, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete with original instruction manual, handwheel with steering wire, wooden pylons and outer carton with slight signs of storage due to its age. The Schuco Elektro-Hydro-Car 5720 first entered the Schuco range in 1959 and was built until 1969. It has an electric engine for forward and reverse driving, a steering wheel gearstick with stop function and a fluid clutch that works like a real automobile. The interior, which can be folded up, makes it possible to study your working methods in detail. Steering is either via the steering wheel on the dashboard or via a hand control unit connected to the vehicle via a steering shaft. The electric engine is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries housed in a battery box located in the boot. The model has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1969.
