Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color pale-blue with a beige hardtop, almost perfect painting without any signs of playing, overall in almost unique perfect and like brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, the original box has several age-related traces of storage. The model is extremely rare to find in this condition.

Things to know about the Schuco Motex 1088
The Schuco Motex 1088 is based on the Mercedes Benz 190SL Roadster with hardtop, first entered the Schuco range in 1962 and was built up to and including 1969. It has a simple clockwork mechanism for fast forward travel, which can be wound either via the winding key supplied or via the friction wheel fitted under the vehicle. The direction of travel can be adjusted via a lever on the front bumper.
