Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1940ties, color red with beige driver, very nice lithography with only very small signs of playing, overall in very pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany", extremely rare and early version with the "Schuco" lettering on the rear wheel cover instead of the later positioning on the engine block, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with Schuco wind-up key in black color.

Things to know about the Schuco Mirakomot 1012 Motorbike
The Schuco Mirakomot 1012 motorbike was one of the first models built after the Second World War, first entered the Schuco range in 1946 and was built until around 1964. Before that, the model had already been in the Schuco range from 1937 up to and including 1945 under the designation "Sport-Motorrad 1012" with different lettering and lithography. It has a clockwork mechanism that drives a longitudinally mounted drive wheel and another transverse wheel. As soon as the motorbike drives over the edge of a table, it automatically turns away to the left and thus does not fall down (so-called "turning function").
