Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color darkred with darkgreen/beige interieur, almost perfect painting with only some very small signs of playing, over all in very good and nice condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany", complete with all accessoires, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete with the original outer box with several small traces of storage due to the age. Extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness.

Things to know about the Schuco Federwerk-Ingenico 5301 with automatic gear shift
The Schuco spring-wound Ingenico 5301 with automatic gearshift first entered the Schuco range in 1952 and was built until 1964. It is the rarest variant in the family of Ingenico models, has a clockwork engine equipped with a start/stop function via a lever and an automatic gearshift that allows the vehicle to drive forwards and backwards. This is done by pulling the remote control shaft, which is attached to the pin in the roof of the model. In addition, the model can be steered either by using the direction indicator on the bonnet or by using the included hand steering wheel in conjunction with the steering shaft, which is also included. The spring-loaded Ingenicos were the first models in the Ingenico series and are now also the rarest. Like all models from the Ingenico series, they can be completely disassembled and reassembled. The Ingenico models have not been reissued since they were discontinued in 1964.
