Schuco Soldier with Drum and Cymbal Solisto Tanzfigur 985/3 "Schweizer Armee"

Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1930ties, in color grey, very pretty and almost brand new condition with only some very small signs of playing, no holes in the felt, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Germany" on the feet, all parts from the figure are authentic to the year of production, with original carboard box in age-related condition and a missing flap.

Things to know about the Schuco Dancing Figures
The Schuco dancing figures first entered the Schuco range in the early 1930s and were built until the 1960s. They have a clockwork motor that makes the figure dance in a circle and -as with this figure- starts drumming and playing the cymbal in a certain rhythm while doing so. The soldier figures, which were produced for a very short time from about 1934 until the beginning of the Second World War, are considered special. There was no reissue of the soldier dance figures after the end of the Second World War.

Unless an original box is shown in the pictures or listed in the description, the model will be shipped in a special “Schuco - Models with a story” bag. Each model has two years warranty and is subject to differential taxation according to §25a UStG (VAT free).
