Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, saloon body in colour light blue with red/beige interior and convertible body in colour dark red with green/beige interior, beautiful paintwork with only very few traces of play, overall wonderful general condition, the dark red body and the base plate have some crackling in the paintwork and some of the chrome parts are faded due to age, the battery box is also slightly contracted due to age and can no longer be filled or closed, all functions faultless and tested, marking on the base plate "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany", all parts are according to the year of manufacture, complete with all accessories, no missing parts, with numerous instruction manuals and playing cards as well as the original box in almost perfect condition with only very few storage marks. Extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness.

The Schuco Elektro-Ingenico 5311 MK De Luxe Construction-kit is, so to speak, the "royal class" among the Ingenico models. It first entered the Schuco range in 1952 and was built until 1964. It was certainly the great and, unfortunately, often unfulfilled childhood dream of an entire generation due to its very high price at the time. The model has an electric remote control unit for start and stop, forward and reverse as well as a precise remote steering wheel. The model is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries housed in a separate battery box, which is connected to the model via a plug-on cable. In addition, the model can also be steered using the direction indicator on the bonnet. Of course, like all models from the Ingenico series, the model can be completely disassembled and reassembled, and with this assembly box you can always choose between the convertible body and the saloon body. The Ingenico models have not been reissued since they were discontinued in 1964.
