Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color white/blue/orange with silver fuselage, very pretty condition with very good painting and lithography, with some very small signs of playing, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany" in black letters, battery compartment without rust, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete with steering shaft and operating instructions as well as the outer box in red color from earlier production date with several age-related storage marks.

Things to know about the Schuco Electro-Radiant 5600
The Schuco Elekro-Radiant 5600 first entered the Schuco range in 1957 and was built until 1968. As a special feature, the model performs the original starting process of the four-engined Vickers Vsicount 814 in eight stages according to reality. The four engines start one after the other with an interval of about five seconds each, then the engines switch to high speed and the aircraft starts to taxi, whereby the direction can be changed via a steering wire. In addition, a small light bulb lights up on the nose of the aircraft. After taxiing, the four motors switch off again one after the other and the process is repeated as long as the switch is set to "automatic". The aircraft is powered by two batteries.
