Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color grey/white/red, very pretty and almost like brand new condition with only some very small signs of playing, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Western Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original outer box with age-related storage marks.

The Schuco Varianto crossing 3066 with traffic policeman first entered the Schuco range in 1959 and was produced until around 1969. When entering the intersection area, either a green or a red stop lever is set in motion, which causes the arm of the traffic policeman with a radio receiver in his hand to be raised and lowered, at the same time an acoustic alarm signal sounds as a warning to the motorist. This mechanism has to be wound up beforehand at the back of the monitoring booth via a lift key. There was no reissue of the crossing.
