Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color red with green/red/white interieur, very nice painting with only some very small signs of playing, over all in pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in Western Germany" in red letters, battery compartment without any dirt, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with the original hand steering unit and steering wire.

Things to know about the Schuco Electro-Alarm-Car 5340
The Schuco Elekro-Alarm-Car 5340 first entered the Schuco range in 1961 and was only built for five years until 1966. It has a loud electric two-tone siren (Martinshorn) and an electric flashing light on the roof, both of which can be switched on with a switch. It is driven by an electric motor, which is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries and is also operated by a switch. The model is steered by a hand wheel connected to the model by a steering shaft and has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1966.
