Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color red with beige interieur, almost perfect painting with only some very small signs of playing, overall in very pretty and nearly new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate with "Made in Western Germany", early version without illuminated headlights, complete with traffic signs and Ingenico 5314/80 hand control unit, battery compartment without any dirt, however, the plastic housing of the battery compartment has shrunk somewhat over the years, so that you can no longer insert batteries, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete with the original outer box with several traces of storage due to the age. Extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness

The Schuco Elektro-Control-Car 5308 -often called the Driving School Car 5308- first entered the Schuco range in 1957 and was built until 1969. It has an electric remote control command unit for start and stop, forward and reverse as well as a precise remote steering wheel. It is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries housed in a separate battery box connected to the model by a slip-on lead. From 1965 onwards, the model was additionally equipped with electric lighting for the two front headlights. The model has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1969.
