Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1930ties, in color white/brown/black with orange felt, very pretty condition with only some little signs of playing, no spots in the felt, no fur loss, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Germany" on the base plate and collar, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original small Schuco wind-up key no. 1. This version of the running dog is one of the rarest variants and is extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness with a tin collar.

Things to know about the Schuco Fox-Terrier 746
The Fox-Terrier 746 first entered the Schuco range in 1934 and was built up to and including the 1960ties. It has a wind-up engine that makes the dog "run around" in a circle. The dog alternately puts one leg in front of the other and makes funny tapping movements that are unparalleled in naturalness. There was no reissue of the Scotch-Terrier 742 series.
