Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color black/red/white with red hull, perfect painting and plastic without any signs of playing, overall in close to brand new condition, only a small glue spot in the area of the cort nozzle, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Western Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

The Schuco Harbour Tug 3008 "Fairplay V" first entered the Schuco range in 1966 and was built for six years only until 1972. It is powered by a simple clockwork mechanism that is wound up by turning the radar screen. When the ship is moving, the radar screen then rotates as on a real boat, and the movement can be interrupted by means of a start/stop lever fitted at the rear. The tug's direction of travel is adjusted via the adjustable cort nozzle at the stern of the boat. There is no new edition of the model in the Schuco range.
