Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1970ties, in color red, very pretty condition with some small signs of playing, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Western Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.
Things to know about the Schuco Microracer Models
The Microracer series first entered the Schuco range in 1954 and was built until the late 1980s. The Opel GT has a plastic body with movable doors, a zinc die-cast screwed base plate and was also marketed under the name "Automatic-Racer". The model is steered by means of an adjusting wheel on the front bumper. At the time, the programme was repeatedly expanded with new vehicle types, with all models having a clockwork mechanism for forward travel.
