Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1930ties, in color lightred/darkred, very good painting with almost any signs of playing, overall in very pretty and close to perfect condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Germany" in golden letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, the added manuel is from newer Schuco production. Very rare to find in this condition.

Things to know about the Schuco Wendelimousine 1010
The Schuco Wendelimousine 1010, also called "Maybach" or Schuco-Patent Sedan-Car / Turning-Car was first released in the Schuco collection before World War II in 1939 and has been built first of all until 1964. Later on in 1988 Schuco has made the decision to start the production again. It has a simple clockwork mechanism and, as a special feature, two driven rubber wheels, one of which turns transversely to the direction of travel. The model does not roll over the front wheels, as one might assume, but pushes itself over the base plate. As soon as the model reaches the edge of the table and it tips forward, the second driven transverse wheel grips and the model bends at a 90° angle in time before falling down.
