Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1980ties, in rare color lightgreen/orange with red/lightbrown interieur, perfect painting and lithography without any signs of playing, overall in very pretty and brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, later version with plastic rims, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany" in golden letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, only the fastening hook from the plastic base plate is missing, with rare and original plastic showcase which is also in very good condition.

The Schuco Oldtimer 1225 / Mercer Type 35J (1913) first entered the Schuco range in the 1960s and was built in a wide range of colours over a long period of time until towards the end of the 1990s. It has a simple clockwork mechanism for fast forward travel as well as a shaking mechanism that makes the model shake when driving, simulating the bad road conditions over hill and dale at the beginning of the 20th century. The driving direction can be adjusted either via the front axle or via the steering wheel.
