Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1970ties, in color darkgreen/white, very good painting with several small signs of playing, overall in very pretty condition, marked on the base plate with "Made in Yoguslawia", battery compartment without any dirt, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original outer box with age-related storage marks and missing inner part.

The Schuco Mercedes Benz 200 /8 Sedan in police version with the article number 355243 or 5311 5342 first entered the Schuco range in the early 1970s and was only built for a short time until about 1975. In the police version, the model has an electronic double-tone siren and a blue light flasher, which are operated by a separate switch. In contrast to the simple model, the servo model not only has a battery-powered electric motor with gears for forward and reverse, but also a cable remote control with steering, which serves as a command device. The cable length is about 2.80 metres and the drive is provided by two 1.5 volt batteries which are housed in a battery compartment of the hand control unit. The model has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1975.
