Schuco Pick-Pick 705 Bird "Sample Piece"

Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in the colour combination yellow/black/orange, sample piece from the collection of the former Schuco developer Fritz Ferschl for the production start of the Pick-Pick bird with mohair plush, without clockwork, without movable feet and without hole in the mohair plush for the winding bolt, perfect mohair plush without any stains or abrasions, overall in brand new condition, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production. Presumably this bird is a unique specimen.

Things to know about the Schuco Pick-Pick 705 / 905 Bird
The Schuco Pick-Pick 705 bird first entered the Schuco range before the Second World War in 1928 and was built in various colour combinations until the 1960s. It has a simple clockwork mechanism which, when wound, makes the bird hop and peck. After the Second World War, the bird was given the item number 905. There was no reissue of the model.
