Manufactured ca. in the 1970ties, in color white/red, perfect and brand new condition, the construction-kit is still in its original sealed condition and has never been opened, only in the area of the tyres is the inner part open towards the inside, marking on the base plate "Made in Germany", the outer box is also in very good condition with a few age-related storage marks. Extremely rare to find in this condition.

The Schuco 225190 McLaren-Ford 23 B Formula 1 Race-car Construction-kit first entered the Schuco range in 1975, is similar to the finished model 356179 and was produced until around the late 1970ties. It has a simple clockwork mechanism for fast forward travel, which can be wound either via the winding key provided or via the friction wheel mounted under the vehicle. The direction of travel can be controlled via the steering wheel and the rims, each fitted with an independent wheel suspension, can be easily dismantled via the central lock screwed on with a wing nut.
