Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color white with extremly rare light-beige interior, very good painting without any signs of playing, overall in very pretty and close to brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany" in blue letters, with extra long-size Schuco wind-up key, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original outer box with age-related storage marks.

The Girato 4000 (351156) first entered the Schuco range in 1967 and was initially built until the 1970s. It has a simple clockwork mechanism with a fully functional 4-speed H-sport gearstick for slow to fast forward driving, a reverse gear, neutral, functional steering and a handbrake lever. A special feature of this model is that both doors of the plastic body can be opened and the seat backs of the two front seats can be folded back. The body of the model is made of plastic, while the base plate is made of sheet metal.
