Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in colour anthracite, lacquered version with hammered look, perfect painting without any signs of playing, overall in very good and brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made U.S.-Zone in Germany", all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with original small wind-up key and outer box. Extremely rare to find in this condition.

Things to know about the Schuco Wendemaus 1022 Mouse
The Schuco Wendemaus 1022 (resp. later 391023) mouse first entered the Schuco range before the Second World War in 1930 and was built in various designs and versions until the 1960s. It has a simple clockwork mechanism for fast straight-line driving. For example, as soon as the mouse approaches the edge of a table, it turns 90° away from the edge and changes direction. There was no reissue of the model.
