Model Description
Manufactured pre-war ca. in the 1930ties, in color lightblue/darkblue, very nice painting with several very small signs of playing, overall in very pretty condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Germany" in golden letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, with very rare and original cardboard box which is in very good condition. Very rare to find in this condition.

Things to know about the Schuco Radio-Auto 5000
The Schuco Radio-Auto 5000 was built exclusively and only for a very short period before the Second World War from 1938 to 1943 inclusive. It has a total of two movements for driving and a music movement from the Swiss manufacturer Thorens, whereby the movement for driving is wound using the conventional square winding key and the movement for the melody is wound using a rotary knob on the underside of the model. The musical movement is switched on and off by pulling or pushing the cable attached to the roof and plays a melodious tune for up to three minutes, regardless of whether the vehicle is stationary or travelling. The radio car is controlled by a lever on the front bumper and also has a brake lever. The Radio-Auto 5000 is one of the rarest Schuco models ever.
