Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1960ties, in color mint-green with darkgreen/beige interieur, very good painting with only several small signs of playing, over all in very pretty condition, rare and simple version without removable bumpers, chrome trim strips on the sides and functionable headlights, the battery box has shrunk somewhat due to age, so that batteries can no longer be inserted and the lid no longer closes. However, the functions are all there and were tested with a different battery box, marked on the base-plate with "Made in U.S.-Zone Germany" in red letters, the article number has been pasted over, battery compartment without deposits, complete with all accessoires, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production, complete with the original outer box with several small traces of storage due to the age. Extremely rare to find in this condition and completeness.

The Schuco Elektro-Ingenico 5311/61 S Limousine was first added to the Schuco range in 1961 and was built until 1964. It has an electric motor and an electric remote control unit for start and stop, forwards and reverse as well as a precise remote control steering wheel. As a special feature, the model in this "S" version has the 5311 SLA headlight system fitted at the factory and therefore illuminated headlights. The model is powered by three 1.5 volt batteries, which are housed in a separate battery box connected to the model via a plug-in cable. Like all models in the Ingenico series, the model can be completely dismantled and reassembled. The Ingenico models have not been reissued since they were discontinued in 1964.
