Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in color combination pale-cream/beige with red interior, absolutely perfect painting without any signs of playing, overall in very pretty and close to brand new condition, all functions are tested and working perfect, marked on the base plate "Made in Western Germany" in black letters, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production. One of the rarest Schuco models ever and also in a unique state of preservation.

The Schuco Electro-Radio-Car 5710 Packard Hawk Convertible first entered the Schuco range in 1959 and was built for just four years until 1963. It had an electric motor for easy forward travel and an additional mechanical music movement from the Swiss manufacturer Thorens. It is powered by two 1.5 volt batteries, which are housed in a battery box on the underside of the model, and the musical movement is wound with a conventional wind-up key via a square bolt, which is also attached to the underside of the model. There are two rotary switches on the dashboard of the model, one of which is used to start the driving mode and the other to switch the radio on and off. In addition, the model's aerial can be retracted and extended and the steering is controlled exclusively via the steering wheel. The Electro-Radio-Car 5710 is one of the rarest of all Schuco models and has not been reissued since it was discontinued in 1963.
