Model Description
Manufactured ca. in the 1950ties, in colour dark red mottled, extremely rare early version, very pretty and like brand new condition with almost any signs of playing, mechanical and electrical functions are tested and working perfect, marked with "Made in Western Germany" on the base plate, all parts from the model are authentic to the year of production.

Things to know about the Schuco Elektro-Varianto Traffic Light Crossing 3061
The Varianto Traffic Light Crossing 3061 first entered the Schuco range in 1958 and was produced until about 1969. It can be installed in any Varianto layout. The two terminals are used for connection to the 5980 transformer, alternatively the traffic light can also be lit via two 1.5 volt batteries. The traffic light itself is turned back and forth by two controllers, so that it can show red and green in different directions of travel, furthermore there is a switch at the battery box to turn the traffic light on and off. There was no reissue of the traffic light crossing.
